
This German chocolate cake with homemade coconut pecan caramel frosting/filling is a full sheetcake. Myrna and I made it for her friend Debbie. Three layers of German fudge cake and three layers of filling. The smooth caramel on the center of the top is "cajeta" - a Mexican caramel that I learned about from my sweet ladies at work. It tastes as good as it looks. So yummy!
That cake was the best. Dennis doesn't even like German Chocolate cake and he even loved it. Thank you sooo much for the wonderful birthday cake.
